Nice to meet you
I’m Sarah. In real life, I’m a professional copywriter, alliteration enthusiast, and the Oxford comma’s #1 fan. Over the past ten years, I’ve written subject lines and SEO, newsletters and white papers, articles and catalogs.
But then I got bitten by the travel bug. Now I’m a full-time nomad, and for the next year, I’ll be writing about unforgettable experiences, cultural curiosities, and life on the road.
I have a tendency to over-share and I’m very fond of hyperbole. So follow along, won’t you? This should be fun.
Just the Facts
My husband, Sean, and I will begin our adventure in Porto, Portugal in September of this year. We plan to wrap it up in Tokyo at the 2020 Olympics.
To date, we’ve explored four continents. I’ve visited 22 countries, and Sean has visited 20.
We had a head start: I worked at an international travel company for five years, and Sean traveled abroad for work and during graduate school.
Prior to setting off into the world, Sean and I lived in Boston. Before that, we both grew up in Texas. We’re very fond of the Red Sox, college football, barbecue, and Tex-Mex, as you might imagine.
My twelve-year-old cat, Layla, is my best buddy, loyal sidekick, and shining Instagram star. I’m a perfectly sane cat lady, but I’m also not above Facetiming her when we’re apart.
